- Delightful orange-honey surfaces. The strike is sharp and the texture is frosty making a lovely impression in all regards. Despite its status as one of the most available issues from the pre-1920 Saint-Gaudens double eagle series, examples of the 1914-S date in any grade finer than MS-65 are far and few between.
