Lot Description

28.0 mm. 135.4 grains. Glossy red and brown surfaces with the red areas intense in color and blending pleasantly into the warm brown elsewhere. A couple of small patina spots are noted on the reverse. Nicely struck on a compact flan but ideally centered with no losses to the tops of any letters. Small voids near the L of LONDON are natural planchet flaws.
