Lot Description

1907 Barber Quarter. Proof-66 Cameo (NGC). Delightful peripheral toning in charcoal-russet colors rings the periphery of an otherwise brilliant obverse. For the reverse we note similar, albeit lighter color at the border, as well as pale-silver tinting through the center. A razor sharp Gem with solid technical quality and pleasing originality. Cameo finish surfaces are anything but common in a proof Barber quarter of this date.
