This is a more affordable mid-grade type candidate from a challenging early copper series. Otherwise boldly defined for the grade, less than perfect centering has resulted in thin denticulation along the right obverse and upper right reverse borders. There is evidence of an old, light cleaning here, although a touch of glossiness and pale pink undertones are calmed down a bit by light golden-brown retoning that presents as natural. Light marks and tiny digs are largely overlooked except under magnification. Manley Die State 1.0.
