1833 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-114. Rarity-2. MS-64+ (PCGS). CAC. Charming satin surfaces are dressed in soft pearl-gray patina, the peripheries with more vivid reddish-gold and powder blue iridescence. Well struck for the type with most major design elements sharp, the surfaces are nicely preserved and expectably smooth for the assigned grade. CC#3 for the 1833 Overton-114 dies per the listing in the Spring 2022 revision to Stephen J. Herrman's AMBPR for Bust half dollars. PCGS# 6163. NGC ID: 24FX.
