Blast white and fully brilliant, this exceptionally well struck GEM boasts essentially perfect surface quality. Even with a strong glass we can find zero flaws worthy of mention. The luster blazes with a strong vivacity that cannot be beat--this coin looks like it just came off the dies! PCGS 193, NGC 66, CAC 79. There are 19 graded 67+ FB at PCGS and just 8 are graded finer. The most recent example sold for $1,320 in September 2019 and the current PCGS value is listed at $2,500. The only CAC coin graded higher is the 68+ that sold for a record $364,250 in our June 2019 Regency Auction, a coin that brought the highest price ever for a Mercury dime.
