Lot Description

A scarce Choice EF survivor of this challenging branch mint issue, from a mintage of just 76,000 pieces. The well-detailed design elements show only light wear and the surfaces are pleasingly toned in pale champagne-apricot iridescence. Traces of a misplaced date are evident in the denticles below the primary digits 69, as seen on 1869-S quarters.
