1849/8 Liberty Seated Half Dime. MS-66 (PCGS). CAC. A gorgeous Gem with satiny silver surfaces and the slightest hint of champagne iridescence throughout. Well struck up for the era, this early Liberty Seated half dime clearly displays the overdate feature. With only 7 coins certified finer by PCGS, this is surely among the most desirable survivors of this mintage of 1.3 million pieces. Approval by CAC further emphasizes this excellent quality.
