Lot Description

The reflective obverse field and frosty devices are virtually alive with intense electric blue iridescence while the reverse devices display some lively rose-gold toning at the center. The tally for Proofs of the date was high this year, 1,100 pieces in fact, owing to a speculative bubble in Proof coins during the era that echoed across most denominations.
