Desirable Restrike 1783 Washington & Independence Token Scarce Silver Striking "1783" (1860) Washington Draped Bust Copper. Restrike. Baker-3A, Vlack 17-L, W-10380. Rarity-5. Silver. Engrailed Edge. Proof-64 Cameo (PCGS). Sharply struck and richly frosted design motifs stand out boldly from reflective mirror fields, the whole largely brilliant with crisp champagne and gold highlights. A pleasing specimen with a few hairlines and two tiny marks below Washington's chin the defining elements of the assigned grade. A scarce design type in silver, and a piece that will no doubt stir the bidding fires. PCGS# 388554.
