- 28.0 mm. Notable faded orange red remains on the surfaces, concentrated mostly through the legends and around Washington's portrait on the obverse, but more generously distributed through the reverse fields. Rare with this much color and quality, this is tied with two others for finest graded of the variety at PCGS. There are no full red examples reported in the PCGS records, and none with their Brown designation have ever graded higher. NGC has graded just a single Brown example as 65+, but none finer than this otherwise. Almost perfect centering on the obverse, while the reverse is ever so slightly aligned toward 8 o'clock, with the letters of PAYABLE against the dentils. Better struck than many seen, with almost full ornamental details in the fireplace border. A common enough issue, but in uncommon condition.
