Brilliant apart from a dusting of pale silver iridescence that is not readily evident at all viewing angles. This sharply struck example offers solid contrast between frosty devices and mirrored fields. Very rare premium Gem Prooflike for this otherwise readily obtainable Philadelphia Mint Morgan dollar issue, this is one of the finest examples of the 1897 in the PCGS PL category.
