1842 Braided Hair Cent. N-9. Rarity-2. Large Date. MS-64 BN (NGC). CAC. Attractive light olive brown with faint blue steel highlights and nice luster. A few flashes of original red remain as well. A couple of trivial marks are present at close inspection, but the strike is sharp and this is a satisfying example. Early die state. PCGS# 405827. NGC ID: 2268.
