This endearing piece sports sharp strike detail to smooth, satiny surfaces. Lightly toned in iridescent champagne-gold and pale pink, there is much to recommend this beautiful piece to discerning Buffalo nickel enthusiasts. While not the rarest Denver Mint issue from the early Buffalo nickel series, the 1915-D is relatively scarce in the finer circulated and lower Mint State grades.
