Lot Description

Gently marbled rose-brown, olive-copper and tan-gold patina delivers an attractively original appearance for this handsome piece. The reverse impression is a bit tight to 5 o'clock, affecting the final letter S and the digits 88 in the date, all three of which are still readily appreciable. Otherwise boldly defined for the assigned grade, there is some old dirt nestled within the central design elements, but no sizeable marks or other significant blemishes are seen.
