A true beauty, this premium Gem displays warm honey-orange surfaces with iridescent pinkish-rose highlights. The bold strike and razor-sharp definition is complimented by unimpeded luster displaying a satin to softly frosted texture. Further noted is a remarkable lack of significant abrasions. Among a relatively tiny group of upper end survivors from a sizeable mintage of more than 2.8 million coins, this Condition Census 1901-S ten is absolutely worthy of the assigned grade. One would be hard pressed to find a better Gem Mint State example of the issue in the current market.
