1794 Liberty Cap Cent. S-29. Rarity-2. Head of 1794. EF-40 (PCGS). Breen Die State I, with a faint crack from the rim to the nose, but no evidence of the reverse crack through the R to the wreath. This piece has pleasing golden-tan and steel-brown surfaces with excellent eye appeal. The date and the center of Liberty's hair are softly defined on the obverse. A great representative of the Liberty Cap type. Provenance: From the Birdwatcher Type Set, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit The Nature Conservancy. PCGS# 901374. NGC ID: 223M.
