1806 Draped Bust Half Cent. C-4. Rarity-1. Large 6, Stems to Wreath. AU-58 (PCGS). CAC. A handsome, fully original piece with blushes of olive-gray patina to otherwise medium brown surfaces. Softly struck at Liberty's bust and at the top of the wreath, yet boldly rendered elsewhere. With a predominantly smooth, frosty texture to both sides, there is much to recommend this coin to type collectors as well as half cent enthusiasts. Provenance: From the Jerome S. Reznick Collection. Earlier from RARCOA's Central States Numismatic Society 1972 Convention Sale, April, lot 1. Collector tag with provenance notation included. CAC Population: 26 in all AU grades. PCGS# 1099.
