- 1960-D Washington Quarter. MS-67 (PCGS).
Blushes of warm pinkish-rose, orange-copper, sea-green and olive-gold compete for dominance on the obverse of this exciting Superb Gem. Otherwise untoned, the reverse is enhanced by speckled copper-russet peripheral highlights. Frosty surfaces are about as smooth as they come in a survivor of this conditionally challenging 1960s quarter issue. Mintage: 63,000,324 coins.
