Lot Description

1887/6 Nickel Three-Cent Piece. FS-302. Proof-67 (NGC). Fiery orange-russet hues to the centers with a lighter teal and gold shade at the rims. The overdate feature is clear with a loupe and the surfaces are outstanding with no specks, spots or signs of carbon. Fully struck and carefully preserved since the day it was struck. One of the finest seen by NGC within the designation, and a highly appealing example for the specialist. PCGS# 3784. NGC Census: 5; none finer within designation.
