1894 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-62 Cameo (NGC). Splashes of reddish-copper peripheral toning enhance the appearance of this otherwise untoned specimen. With a sharp strike and bold cameo contrast, this is an above average example for the assigned grade. From a mintage of 972 Proofs, survivors of which enjoy heightened demand in today's market due to the low mintage of the circulation strike 1894 Morgan dollar.
