Lot Description

Enticing auburn and gold toning encase this softly lustrous overdate.  A splash of iridescent turquoise highlights the obverse.  The Nomura 1805s, lacking only the O.114, display remarkable eye-appeal.  This one fits the mold.  The eagle’s head is a tad soft.  Other devices are bold.  Any AU 1805 deserves attention.  An AU 1805/4 is a cause for celebration.   Estimate: $9,000 to $11,000
