- Description du lot
- A sharp and smooth Superb Gem with deep, rich toning that is deeper at the peripheries, more iridescent in quality in the centers. The 1913-D is the first Denver Mint Buffalo nickel and the only one of the short-lived Type I design. Mint State survivors are scarcer than those of the 1913 Type I, and with solid Superb Gem quality and handsome surfaces the coin offered here is nothing short of magnificent.
