1892-CC Liberty Head Eagle. AU-53 (NGC). CAC. beautiful honey-gold and pale orange patina greets the viewer from both sides of this boldly defined, suitably lustrous example. One of the rarer late date Carson City Mint eagles, the 1892-CC was produced to the extent of 40,000 pieces. While circulated coins through EF are obtainable with patience, the 1892-CC is rare in Mint State, far more so than the 1890-CC and (especially) 1891-CC.
