1872-CC Liberty Head Half Eagle. VF-20 (PCGS). This pleasingly original example exhibits subtle pinkish-rose highlights to otherwise dominant golden-olive patina. The surfaces are both uncommonly lustrous and remarkably smooth for an early date Carson City Mint half eagle that saw this extensive circulation.
