Just 35 proof gold dollars were minted at the Philadelphia Mint in 1870, and the present yellow-gold representative is one of only 15 to 20 known survivors. An affordable grade with plenty of eye appeal, the sharply struck mirrors offer bright reflectivity and are devoid of any mentionable abrasions.
