1866 Round 25 Cents. BG-804. Rarity-4. Liberty Head. MS-67 (NGC). The deep olive-gold surfaces of this attractive Period Two Gem exhibit satiny and mildly reflective fields that support a frosty portrait of Liberty on the obverse. The "DOLIAR" variety -- the second L in the denomination appears like an I that joins the foot of the A that follows. This particular specimen is <strong><em>the finest example of BG-804 certified by NGC; </em></strong>it stands alone at the top of that firm's&nbsp;<em>Census Report.</em> A truly gorgeous coin that easily warrants the given grade.
