Lot Description

1822 Capped Bust Dime. JR-1, the only known dies. Rarity-3. VG-8 (PCGS). CAC. Attractive medium gray fields offset the lighter silver-gray devices. Smooth wear in general, with a few nicks and scrapes from circulation. One of the key dates to the series which has always been in high demand and is seldom found in high grades.
