"1783" (1860) Washington Draped Bust Copper. Restrike. Baker-3A, Vlack 17-L, W-10380. Rarity-5. Silver. Engrailed Edge. Proof-64 (PCGS). This richly toned silver Washington & Independence token exhibits reflective fields and frosted motifs. A rich display of varied gold, peach, crimson, and blue iridescence engages the viewer's eye in a bright light source. Far more scarce than its copper restrike counterparts, this variety -- in silver -- always achieves impressive auction results.
