FROM THE SEATTLE COLLECTION This is a RARE pattern, struck in 100% copper, featuring the whimsical "Dutch" 5 reverse. A low R-7 Pattern, fewer than a dozen are known in all grades. Deeply reflective, toned copper surfaces have a warm chocolate brown that boasts a lovely teal and cobalt blue with some tinges of original mint red. Sharply struck up, the design types are quite bold. PCGS 2, NGC 2. Long off the market, this is not the one that sold in our July 2018 Regency Auction.
