Losbeschreibung: 1799 Capped Bust Right Eagle. Taraszka-22, BD-10. Rarity-3. Large Obverse Stars. MS-63 (PCGS). Soft underlying luster supports a wealth of deep orange toning, and plenty of mint frost engages the protected areas of the design. The surfaces are mark-free to the unassisted eye, and the strike is bold for the type. Some light planchet adjustment marks, as made, are seen under low magnification at the first S of STATES and the eagle's wing tip immediately below, with another tiny group of light adjustment marks at the first A in AMERICA and the adjoining wing tip; these are mentioned for accuracy alone, as they do little to detract from the overall appearance. An altogether pleasing representative of the date and grade combination.
