1892-S Barber Half Dollar. MS-64 (PCGS). CAC. This is the first San Francisco Mint Barber half dollar. It boasted a rather large mintage of 1,029,028 pieces, however, it is now considered a key date in all grades. The present appealing near-Gem exhibits virtually untoned silver-white surfaces. The finish is generally satiny, but with decided reflective tendencies in the fields.
