1884 Liberty Quarter Eagle. MS-61 (NGC). Deep orange gold with lively luster across frosty motifs and somewhat prooflike fields. A sharply struck specimen that yields far fewer marks than typically seen for the grade. One of just 1,950 examples of the date struck.
