- 1787 New Jersey Copper. Maris 56-n, W-5310. Rarity-1. No Sprig Above Plow, Camel Head--Overstruck on a Connecticut Copper--VF-25 (PCGS).
A sharp example interesting for its extremely bold dentils around the left side of the obverse and much of the reverse. Glossy chocolate-brown with some darker toning in places. Bold branch hand from the Connecticut undertype at the horse head and the face of the Connecticut obverse effigy is present in the shield. An excellent example of an overstruck Camel Head.
