1936 Washington Quarter. Proof-66+ (PCGS). CAC. Beautiful and rare premium Gem quality for this key date entry in the Proof Washington quarter series. Dusted with mottled sandy-gold iridescence, both sides are silky smooth in appearance with a uniformly mirrored finish from the dies. The premier Proof quarter of this design type, the 1936 is also the rarest. At just 3,837 pieces produced, the mintage is limited by 20th century U.S. Mint standards.
