- Lot Description
- 1914 Barber Half Dollar. Proof-64 Cameo (PCGS). CAC. Champagne gold highlights take up much of the obverse, the balance of full mint brilliance; the reverse is fully pale gold in tone. Frosty motifs and reflective fields. From a proof mintage for the date of just 380 pieces, the lowest such production figure in the design type; interestingly enough, the date's circulation strike mintage of 124,230 pieces is also the lowest figure in the series for coins intended for circulation.
