1876/6876 Octagonal 50 Cents. BG-935. Rarity-5. Indian Head. MS-65 (NGC). Plain edge. Bright and lustrous yellow-gold with bold cameo contrast between the frosty devices and the reflective fields, especially on the obverse. Underlying 6 plainly evident beneath the existing 1 of the date. Obverse bulged around the feather tips and behind the Indian's head. One of the Small Indian Heads from the firm of Herman J. Brand in San Francisco.
