1787 New Jersey Copper. Maris 48-g, W-5275. Rarity-1. Outlined Shield. VF-35 (PCGS). A pleasingly original medium brown example with intermingled flint gray highlights around the peripheries. Overall boldly defined from a well centered strike, original planchet texture remains over the lower left obverse, although all four digits in the date are plainly evident.
