Lot Description: 1797 Draped Bust Cent. S-126. Rarity-3. Reverse of 1797, Stems to Wreath. VF-20 BN (NGC). Nice chocolate-brown color, the surfaces smooth and free from roughness though they do display some tiny contact marks. Of interest to the specialist for its early die state, prior to the obverse die breaks. Scarce as such. Previously owned by several large cent luminaries. Provenance: Ex 1954 ANA bourse; C.
