Endearing Choice AU 1916-D Mercury Dime 1916-D Mercury Dime. AU-58 FB (NGC). A handsome and inviting near-Mint example of this ever-popular key date Mercury dime issue. Lightly toned in mottled olive-russet patina, both sides retain plenty of silvery brilliance. Predominantly lustrous with a satin finish from the dies, razor sharp to full striking detail is also a praiseworthy attribute.
