- 1852-D Liberty Quarter Eagle. AU-58 (PCGS). Impressively lustrous deep orange-gold surfaces with the initial visual impact of a moderately finer grade. Unmarked to the unassisted eye and with no serious disturbances to be found under low magnification. Just 4,078 examples of the date were struck. The present piece is among the 19 finest grading <em>events</em> among survivors of the date at PCGS. Undeniably choice for the grade.
