1738-P French Colonies Sou Marque. Dijon Mint. Vlack-161a. Rarity-5. No Stop Before SIT. AU-58 (PCGS). 31.9 grains. A lovely, fully silvered specimen with deep rose accents over the original coloration. Other than faint bits of scattered die rust and verdigris, there are no surface distractions worthy of mention on either side of this very scarce example. The second-highest graded piece at PCGS, of only five coins that they have seen.
