- 1860 Gold Dollar. MS-64 PL (NGC). A scarcer P-mint Gold Dollar, the 1860 has a fairly limited mintage of 36,514 business strikes. Yellow-gold in color and crisply impressed throughout, nicely mirrored fields also confirm this coin as an early die state. There are only small, singularly inconspicuous abrasions precluding an even higher grade. Unique for the issue with a PL designation from NGC!
