THE CENTRAL ILLINOIS HOARD OF RATTLERS There are three 1912 $5s with a GOLD CAC in all Mint State grades: 2 in MS60 and 1 in MS61. This one is housed in a generation 2.1 holder and is very conservatively graded. The surfaces are on par with coins we have seen in MS62 and MS63 holders (no guarantees). The color is rich and delectable with a deep orange-gold color. Sharply struck incuse devices show off the full design. The eye appeal is great. PCGS 272, NGC 334, CAC GOLD 2.
