1876 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-101. Type I Reverse. MS-63 (PCGS). Thick, satiny mint luster flows over surfaces that are untoned apart from delicate sandy-apricot peripheral iridescence. The 1876 is one of the more realistic type candidates from the Motto portion of the Liberty Seated half dollar series, and this sharply struck and uncommonly smooth MS-63 would make a lovely addition to an Uncirculated set.
