Features the attractive and distinctive toning seen on some other high end examples of this issue, a base of warm pearl gray enhanced by mottled iridescence of amber, olive and reddish-russet hues. Intense frosty luster covers the entirety of the impressively smooth surfaces. Despite a mintage of more than 20 million pieces and prolonged Treasury distribution, this terminal Morgan dollar issue is surprisingly conditionally challenged. The desirability of this richly original upper end Gem is obvious.
