Bradford Pear Collection. 1 graded PR-66+ cameo, 17 higher at NGC. Likely very few 1885 nickels exist with such pristine, flashy contrast as seen here, given the blazing nickel-bright brilliance that emanates from the fields and provides a suitable backdrop for evenly and consistently frosted devices. Eminently sharp definition brings out the obverse stars and only narrowly avoids popping up each kernel on the left ear of corn.
