Lot Description

Reflective fields support frosty, fully impressed motifs on both sides of this gorgeous specimen. Both sides are originally and attractively toned in iridescent olive-gray with champagne-pink and powder blue undertones. Nicely preserved with only faint, well concealed hairlines precluding an even higher grade. According to the Rulau-Fuld Washingtoniana reference (1999), only 50 to 100 silver specimens were struck from this die pairing. Only on rare occasions do we have the opportunity to offer one for sale.
