Breen Die State VI. Well centered and boldly defined in a mid-grade example of this readily attributable Sheldon number, with a pronounced biplanar radial crack in the right obverse field. Border denticulation is universally broad and crisp around both sides, and it frames design elements that are fully appreciable despite a touch of softness in the centers. Pleasing tan and medium brown patina with a hint of granularity and light pitting discernible under close inspection with a loupe, but no sizeable handling marks. A hint of curious underlying glossiness also serves to limit the EAC grade to the Fine level, but this piece presents well and will nicely represent the variety in another advanced early copper cabinet.
