Lot Description

1794 Liberty Cap Half Cent. C-5a, B-3b. Rarity-4+. Manley Die State 1.0. Normal Head. VF-35 (PCGS). The reverse is rotated nearly 90 degrees clockwise from normal coin alignment. Both sides of this piece are evenly toned in an olive-brown shade that provides a very nice "look" at the Choice VF grade level. Overall bold definition also helps in this regard, of course, and there are no significant detractions apart from a few wispy pinscratches over the right-central reverse.
